C/2018 C2 Lemmon
more info
Comet C/2018 C2 was discovered on 5 February 2018, about four months before its perihelion passage; later a few prediscovery measurements going back to 28 January 2018 were found. This comet was last seen on 27 October 2018.
Solutions (GR and NG) given here are based on data span over 0.748 yr in the range of heliocentric distances: 2.47 au – 1.96 au (perihelion) – 2.63 au.
This Oort spike comet suffers moderate planetary perturbations during its passage through the planetary system that lead to a more tight future orbit (see future barycentric orbit).
